The Maritime Photography of Tony Pickering. A continually updated collection of photographs of the traditional and modern craft of the Suffolk, Essex and Kent coasts and beyond. Specialising in the smacks, gaffers and classic yachts that grace our local waters.

Originally from a professional photographic background, I've been a steel boat-builder and repairer, sailing instructor, and marina dockmaster.
Having done three Dournenez trips, and photography from the deck of various smacks and classic boats, I finally bought a RIB in 2011 to give me the versatility to take the photography a bit more seriously.
